Nature's Body is an Australian supplement brand, operating since 2012, that's best known for NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide). NMN is one of the most heavily marketed supplements of the last few years, which makes it worth knowing what you're actually buying. This guide covers what NMN is, its legal status, what the research does and doesn't show, and how to compare products.

This is general shopping information, not medical advice. Talk to your doctor before starting NMN or any supplement, especially if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication, or have a health condition.

What NMN is

NMN is a compound the body uses to make NAD+, a molecule involved in how cells produce energy. NAD+ levels fall with age, which is why NMN is marketed for healthy aging. Whether taking NMN as a supplement leads to meaningful health benefits in people is a separate question — see what the research shows below.

In the US, the FDA had excluded NMN from dietary supplements in 2022. In September 2025 it reversed that decision, concluding NMN is not excluded from the definition of a dietary supplement, and in December 2025 it reinstated NMN's new dietary ingredient status. In Australia, NMN was added to the ingredients permitted in listed complementary medicines in December 2025, and Nature's Body says its NMN is TGA-listed.

What the research shows

Human studies of NMN are still small and short — most last a few weeks to about six months. A recent systematic review found that oral NMN was generally well tolerated in adults over these periods, without an increase in adverse events. But the evidence on whether NMN slows aging or improves health outcomes in people is limited, so treat claims about longevity with caution. As with any supplement, the FDA doesn't review NMN products for safety or effectiveness before they're sold.

How to compare NMN supplements

Checklist: purity backed by a lab report, dose per serving, form and storage, and cost per serving
Four checks before buying an NMN supplement
  • Purity, with proof. A high purity percentage on the label means little without a third-party certificate of analysis (COA) for the product and batch. Nature's Body says independent COAs are available for key products, including NMN.
  • Dose per serving. Check the milligrams per capsule or scoop and how many make a serving — products vary widely.
  • Form. Capsules are pre-measured and convenient; powder lets you adjust the amount but needs measuring.
  • Storage and freshness. Follow the label's storage directions and check the best-by date when your order arrives.
  • Cost per serving. Divide the price, after any discount and including shipping, by the number of servings.

What else Nature's Body sells

Besides NMN, Nature's Body sells supplements such as resveratrol, shilajit, lion's mane, NAC, TMG and creatine gummies, as well as red light LED face masks and sleep masks. The same checks apply: look for a COA, compare the dose per serving, and be wary of big health promises.
